Newsletter

GSQ members receive a newsletter each month via email or US Postal Service.  The newsletter contains details specifically for members, including minutes of board meetings and business meetings.

Block Lottery

Almost every month a block is presented for our quilters to make. We can enter up to three blocks in the block lottery. A winner is chosen from a bucket of tickets. The winner gets all the blocks.

Charm Square Exchange

Almost every month a charm square exchange is held. The six-inch fabric squares of quilt shop quality fabric follow a theme.  The newsletter announces the theme and lists the participants in the exchange.  Those involved must submit three different squares for each participant.

Fabric Birthday Club

Members who decide to participate agree to send a fat quarter (18”x22”) of 100% cotton, “quilt shop quality” fabric, to each person listed in the newsletter sometime during the month of their birthday. The fabric may be mailed or delivered at the monthly meeting.
